BANYAK hikmah dan pelajaran yang bisa kita ambil yang Allah berikan dari penciptaan langit dan bumi, dan salah satunya adalah dari mahkluk kecil yang bernama kupu-kupu. Allah berfirman dalam kitab-Nya: ”Sesungguhnya dalam penciptaan langit dan bumi dan silih bergantinya malam dan siang terdapat tanda-tanda bagi orang yang berakal.” (QS 3: 190). Jika kita renungkan banyak rahasia alam untuk digali dan diambil pelajaran yang Allah sediakan di muka bumi ini.
Allah ciptakan makhluk kecil yang bernama kupu kupu. Kupu-kupu indah berwarna-warni, terbang di antara bunga-bunga, berkejaran ke sana-ke mari, berlari-lari bersama teman-temannya, menambah keindahan taman, menyejukan mata yang melihatnya, kupu-kupu memberikan daya tarik sendiri bagi yang melihatnya. Begitu besarnya kuasa Allah menciptakan binatang kecil yang bernama kupu-kupu. Pernah ketika kecil dulu, saya berminpi ingin menjadi kupu-kupu yang bebas terbang ke sana-ke mari, mengepakan sayap-sayapnya yang indah di antara bunga-bunga di halaman rumah.
Binatang kecil nan elok ini bahkan bisa menjadi daya tarik wisatawan di suatu negara, salah satunya adalah di Benua Amerika tepatnya di negara bagian Amerika yang bernama Meksiko. Ada salah satu jenis kupu-kupu monarch yang mampu menarik wisatawan dari berbagai manca negara. Tak kalah indahnya ada juga di negara kita tercinta Indonesia tempat wisata kupu-kupu salah satunya tempat wisata Bali Buterfly Park yang berada di daerah Bali.
Keindahan kupu-kupu telah menarik hati kita untuk mengagumi ciptaan Sang Pencipta alam semesta ini. Kupu-kupu mempunyai daya tarik dan keindahan serta kecantikan yang luar biasa. Tak heran dulu aku pernah bermimpi menjadi seekor kupu-kupu yang elok.
Dari mahkluk cantik yang bernama kupu-kupu, terkandung pelajaran luar biasa yang dapat kita ambil hikmahnya. Di balik keindahan dan kecantikannya ada perjalanan panjang yang harus dilalui yang dinamakan metamorfosis. Dalam bermetamorfosis kupu-kupu melewati beberapa fase kehidupan untuk menjadikannya lebih indah. Metamorfosis kupu-kupu adalah yang paling sempurna. Untuk menjadi cantik dan indah ia harus melewati beberapa tahap mulai dari telur, ulat, kepompong, dan akhirnya keluar menjadi kupu-kupu dengan sempurna dan cantik.
Salah satu fase kehidupan di balik keindahan kupu-kupu, ada peristiwa yang menjijikan dan membuat semua orang menjauh. Kupu-kupu yang tadinya berupa ulat membuat siapapun takut dan enggan untuk mendekatinya. Jika terkena bulu-bulunya akan terasa gatal. Belum lagi bentuk ulat yang menakutkan dan mengerikan. Bahkan ketika ulat mendekat sering kali kita menjerit karena takut terkena bulu-bulunya yang membuat gatal. Yang lebih menyebalkan lagi kupu-kupu bisa menghabiskan daun-daun. Saking jijiknya pada ulat banyak juga petani membunuh ulat dengan menggunakan pestisida.
Begitu kejamnya manusia, hanya karena ketidaktahuan dan keegoisannya dia menjauhi bahkan tega membunuhnya. Padahal ulat yang menjijikan sebenarnya mempunyai potensi dan manfaat yang luar biasa bagi kehidupan, di antaranya bisa membantu penyerbukan, sebagai penawar racun, penyeimbang ekosistem, menyuburkan tanaman, bisa sebagai membaca tanda-tanda alam.
Tak lama kemudian ulat berubah menjadi kepompong, menggelantung di pepohonan terkena panas terik matahari, angin dan hujan. Kepompong yang lemah begitu kuatnya menahan semua fenomena alam yang harus dilaluinya, tapi mahkluk kecil yang lemah menjadi kuat karena terus memotivasi diri untuk maju agar bisa terbang jauh tinggi keangkasa meraih mimpi-mimpinya.
Ulat yang menjijikan bermetamorfosis menjadi kupu-kupu yang elok dengan sayap yang beraneka warna. Ketika melihat kupu-kupu terkadang kita lupa kalau dia pernah menbuat kita jijik bahkan enggan untuk mendekatinya, namun proses dan kesabaranlah yang akhirnya mengubah ulat mampu menjadi binatang yang dikagumi banyak orang.
Metamorfosis kupu-kupu memberikan pelajaran kepada kita untuk berubah, belajar menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik dan kuat. Mau tidak mau kita harus mau berubah, Allah berfirman “Sesungguhnya Allah tidak akan mengubah nasib suatu kaum hingga mereka mengubah diri mereka sendiri,” (QS. Ar-Ra’d:11). … “Dan boleh jadi kamu membenci sesuatu tetapi ia baik bagimu, dan boleh jadi kamu menyukai sesuatu tetapi ia buruk bagimu, dan Allah mengetahui dan kamu tidak mengetahui,“ (QS. Al-Baqarah: 216).
Betul sekali Allah tidak akan mengubah nasib kita jika bukan diri kita sendiri yang mengubahnya. Jangan terlalu berharap pada orang lain, mulailah dari diri sendiri, walaupun untuk berubah terkadang banyak rasa sakit dan perih yang dialami. Tidak ada yang akan bisa kita raih tanpa adanya perubahan. Untuk berubah memang sulit akan tetapi akan lebih sulit jika tika pernah berubah, semua berubah sesuai sunatulloh, perubahan merupakan suatu keniscayaan. Di dunia ini tidak ada yang abadi kecuali perubahan.
Bermetamorfosislah seperti kupu-kupu, walau kadang untuk berubah sering kali kita dibaikan orang, dihina, dicaci, dimaki bahkan dianggap tidak penting. Sering kali orang lain mengacuhkan dan mengabaikan potensi yang kita miliki, bahkan ditolak mentah-mentah, semua itu terasa menyakitkan. Teruslah berjuang untuk berubah seperti kupu-kupu yang mempesona dunia, teruslah berjalan dan melangkah walau lelah dan letih, jangan pernah berhenti melangkah, ketika menjalani proses perubahan jangan menuntut kesempurnaan, karena kesempurnaan adalah proses dari perbaikan-perbaikan yang dilakukan. Teruslah berubah hingga akhirnya menjadi makhluk indah yang disukai dan diperlukan banyak orang serta menjadi panutan karena budi pekerti yang baik, serta memiliki kecerdasan yang Alloh berikan pada kita sebagai wujud dari hasil perjuangan.
Belajar dari filosofi kupu-kupu. Untuk berubah menjadi kupu-kupu nan rupawan dengan sayap yang kuat, dibutuhkan perjuangan serta perjalanan panjang yang terkadang membuat frustasi, namun bersabarlah karena perjuangan adalah sesuatu yang kita perlukan dalam hidup ini.
Terkadang kita protes sama yang Maha Kuasa, kenapa Allah memberikan cobaan hidup? Kenapa tidak adil? Tapi satu hal yang harus diyakini, Allah tidak akan memberikan kita ujian di luar kemampuan kapasitas diri. Jika Allah Swt membiarkan hidup tanpa hambatan dan perjuangan, itu mungkin justru akan melumpuhkan dan melemahkan. kita mungkin tidak akan sekuat yang semestinya.
Beranilah untuk berubah, bulatkan tekad untuk berjuang, jangan mengharapkan jalan pintas dan instan. Karena jalan instan dan ketergesa-gesaan hanya akan membuat kita menjadi manusia-manusia yang tidak kuat dengan benturan-benturan hidup.
Setiap cobaan atau masalah yang diberikan maka hadapilah dengan bijak dan hati yang lapang, yakinlah semua akan indah pada waktunya. Teruslah bangkit jika terjatuh, jangan terlalu banyak berharap bantuan orang lain, karena pada dasarnya yang menolong diri kita hanyalah kita sendiri. Jangan lupa berdo’a kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Kuasa. Yakinlah setiap usaha yang dilakukan akan dinilai sebagai ibadah Allah swt.
