DIDIKPOS.COM – Rektor Universitas Galuh (Unigal) Ciamis, Dr. H. Yat Rospia Brata, mengatakan, meskipun sudah ada keputusan dari Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud) yang membolehkan penyelenggaraan kuliah tatap muka pada tahun 2021, namun pihaknya masih menunggu keputusan dari Bupati Ciamis.

“Untuk Januari 2021, kami tidak akan gegabah untuk membuka kegiatan kuliah tatap muka. Karena, universitas itu beda dengan SD atau SMP. Kami itu punya mahasiswa dari berbagai daerah, apalagi kalau kasus Covid-19 di Ciamis belum menurun, kami tidak ingin ada klaster Unigal,” kata Yat, dikutip Harapanrakyat.com, Jumat (25/12/2020).

Ia menuturkan, jika nanti kepala daerah atau pemerintah mengintruksikan agar kuliah tatap muka bisa digelar karena kondisi Covid-19 sudah menurun, Unigal akan melakukan kuliah hybrid (campuran kuliah secara luring dan daring).

“Yang jelas kita tidak gegabah dalam hal ini, kita bagi jadwal biar kuliah bisa efektif,” ujarnya.

Yat mengimbau kepada seluruh mahasiswa meskipun saat ini belajar secara daring namun tetap harus patuh dan berpedoman protokol kesehatan Covid-19 dengan cara 3M, yakni memakai masker, mencuci tangan serta menjaga jarak dengan orang ketika berinteraksi.

“Saya harap, Covid-19 ini segera berlalu. Kemudian kepada mahasiswa agar bisa mengikuti kegiatan akademik dengan serius meskipun secara daring,” katanya. (des)***
